Prologue:
After a few days discovering the city, it's time to go back to Shanghai. Indeed, I'll have to work the day after (May, 2). I also booked a night flight so I can arrive early in the morning and go to the office directly.Not so many things to do between the check out from the hotel and the check in at the airport, so I decided to go to the airport way early... That was a clever idea!
Arrived at the airport, I went to the counter to check-in and gave my name. The lady told me that she cannot find me. Well... French accent can be confusing so I gave passport and booking confirmation... Again, she cannot find me! At that time, I started to stress! After 10 long minutes, she told me, oh I've found you, but on tomorrow's flight! I re-checked my booking, and, I booked the wrong plane -___-
Stupidity 1 - 0 Me!
Then I spent more than 1hour on the phone to find a solution and to book the last seat available in this plane in J. Too much money spent later, I got my new booking so I went back to the counter to check-in!
Should be enough, isn't it? Well, no! The plane was 150 min late at departure, and finally 107min late at arrival.
Let's discover thereafter how was the flight!
I received my invitation to the lounge so I'll discover it for the first time
Food and beverage offer
The Burgundy Beef Stew was excellent with its gnocchi
The restroom was very clean as well
I think that the lounge was pretty cosy. I liked the design
The famous massage seat. Don't use it I've already booked it!

In the corridor outside the lounge you can check the terminal downstairs
In Singapore they are checking the baggages just before boarding...
At the plane for tonight
This plane is in 1-2-1 configuration but without angles. On the window side you have one row near the window one row near the aisle (they change the table side)

See this @!$%$!&^*&)@*^£@%^@ ???? He was jumping and screeming on this £$%^&*()(*&^ business seat.... and the parents were just happy and encouraging him... FA didn't say a word neither... Hopefully he calmed down after we took off

2h after the expected time of take off the FA suggested to have the breakfast now so we won't be disturbed during the plane. After they served the dish we had only 15 min to eat because we finally got the authorisation to take off...

Summary:
Again, no meal during the flight, we only got a breakfast at 2am as the plane was late.Despite that, the cabin was comfortable and the WiFi is still available onboard.

Le salon aurait eu les faveurs de notre orgieman. Le seul avantage de ce vol est finalement le lit. Tu voulais rentrer bien vite en Chine !

ReplyTu voulais tellement rester a SIN que tu as reserve un volplus tard ! Le salon n'est pas trop mauvais et ily a de quoi faire un repas, qui est preferable vu ce que tu as eu. Merci Antoien pour le partage.

C'etait un signe du destin: tu as réservé le vol du lendemain qui n'aurait certainement pas pu être pire lol
Moi aussi j'ai fait une bêtise récemment: j'ai réservé un vol pour une destination alors que je dois être
à un autre endroit 300 km plus loin pour le boulot. J'avais le bon jour, le bon mois mais pas la bonne année. Forcément ça change tout lol
Heureusement le vol était à 40 euros !
Je confirme que le salon aurait eu mes faveurs.

Singapour est une superble ville très agréable même si je préfère Hong Kong
L'offre salon est plutôt bien

Niveau Catering, j'ai seulement été déçu pour l'A/R PVG-SIN, la CEA vers l'Europe est très bien

Chinese children are a joy, aren't they? The little "emperor" looks adorable. I hope the parents get him restrained in his seat during the flight. I would hate to think what would happen in case of severe and unexpected turbulence.
You only had 15min. to finish your meal? A new meaning to fast food breakfast. interesting choice of vegetables to accompany the omelette. You have red, green and yellow in the main dish. Looks like the flag of Lithuania.
Hopefully, the emperor was quiet during the flight, else he would have had some issues (from me!).
Yes, the meal was very fast, it took time to decide to offer us the breakfast to make us wait for the taking-off but after they started they got the permission to go....
