Prologue:
Time to travel again to HK !!!Luggages are ready, hotel is booked, working day is over, I can go to the airport!

More convenient way to go to the airport is to use the Maglev. Metro: 70min from my home ~ 7RMB Maglev: 15min metro + 10min Maglev ~ 44RMB taxi: 45min ~ 200RMB
During peak hour it can reach 430km/h however today it was only 301km/h!
Saving cost also reaches China... No more VIP area. They kept half of the area (with the carpet for J and platinium) and a classic check-in area for J and Elite/Elite Plus
Time to go through the border. Quick and efficient for me... However my gf was rewarded with an ID and baggage control as she's from Mainland and going to HK...

As you can see by crossing the jetbridge you can reach your 10'000 daily steps >__< crossing the street...

Summary:
Saving too much money reduces customer's satisfaction: VIP check-in area is terrible, lounge same, and no dinner on board.Else, the plane was on time and we arrived at destination.

Calling a lounge by its number is just so forgettable. I wonder why they don't name their lounges in order to make them stand out a little more.
The food at the lounge looks varied but not appetizing at all. Personally i would just buy something from a fast food outlet.
I thought Chinese carriers were more generous when it comes to food but apparently your flight shows otherwise. Wow!
HKG is always an exciting place for a quick getaway, even more these days. I hope you enjoyed your stay safely.
You can try to suggest them to rename the lounge! Lounge Mao, ... haha
For the food that's the lottery, one day might be good, the other one terrible, that's not consistant with the time =/
For the food, i used to have more with them, dunno what happened that time!
