Prologue:

Bienvenido a este tramo final de mi viaje de SJO a SFO.

En ese entonces tenía el estatus Silver con CM Connectmiles y parte del beneficio eran ascensos complementarios en el día de la salida. Por suerte me ascendieron en la puerta, lo que fue una sorpresa ya que no esperaba uno.

El COPA Club es el único club después de la seguridad dentro de la terminal y es utilizado por otros operadores. La entrada está entre una cafetería y una tienda por lo que si uno no mira con atención puedes pasarlo. Al ingresar debe uno tomar el ascensor hasta el segundo piso para registrarse en la recepción.

Había una línea larga hoy.

El salón fue recientemente renovado cuando lo visité.

Buffet. No hay mucho para escoger.

Durante ciertas horas se ofrece una selección de sandwiches - jamón y queso o pollo al pesto.

El salón solo tiene 2 duchas y durante las horas más ajetreados es difícil conseguir una disponible.

Abordamos a tiempo y tomé algunas fotos de un viaje anterior para mostrar la cabina

Auriculares de baja calidad.

Bebida de bienvenida - elegí un vaso de agua.

Menu.

Después del despegue se distribuyeron toallas calientes.

Base de Bloody Mary con semillas tostadas.

Charly fue un excelente jefe de cabina. Era muy profesional y tenia una sonrisa todo el tiempo.

Sopa y ensalada como aperitivos.

Pescado con salsa chimichurri servido con arroz amarillo y tomates horneados. La otra opción era un pollo con salsa de curry.

Tenía curiosidad sobre la comida de Y y le pregunté a la FA si podía tener una extra. Me presentaron un plato de spaghetti..

Helado con aderezos a su gusto para finalizar la comida.

Antes de la llegada se ofrece una merienda ligera.

Summary:

El Copa Club es el único disponible en este aeropuerto y la renovación lo ha hecho más moderno y atractivo. Sin embargo, durante los períodos con más tráfico, el salón realmente puede sentirse lleno y se necesita un salón más amplio. Catering deja mucho que desear. En el pasado solo había bocadillos enpaquetados por la tarde y la noche, por lo que los sándwiches son una grata adición.

En el aire CM ofrece un producto promedio y se puede mejorar la restauración. Todos los vuelos a los EE. UU. Pasan por un segundo control de rayos X en la puerta de embarque La mayoría de la tripulación es cortés pero en este vuelo tuve un sobrecargo excepcional..

I wish CM had widebodies. Yes, it's awfully long on a 737.

Salut Antoine,

I have seen it crowded and I'd rather be at the terminal when that happens. I can't believe that there is no other club for premium pax in an airport like this. Hopefully with the new terminal (still under construction) they will open a new facility.

When you are in Latin America there are not that many carriers to choose from. At least CM is punctual. ;)

Old airports have their own..how can I say..Charms^^
On board, it is always nice to have something to eat- for free (I rarely use BoB : looking someone eating, or the contrary,.. I don't really enjoy).
Interesting traffic at GRU. Lucky end on the tarmac !

I feel hungry, now, with your bonus !
