Prologue:

At the end of May I decided to visit Burbank for the weekend and I decided to stay at the Holiday Inn Burbank - Media Center located in downtown Burbank just a short walk from restaurants in the area. The location was ideal and I booked a single room for USD 129 (EUR 105.49) plus taxes a night.

Before arriving I was glad to find out that I was upgraded to an Executive room which had a kitchenette, mini refrigerator, microwave oven and living room area. I called the hotel for the shuttle pick up at the airport when I arrived and it came within 10 min.
