Prologue:
We continue with this RTW trip flying HKG-SIN with SQ.Back when I was searching for a one way trip from HKG to Europe FRA was the cheapest destination and SQ was offering it for around USD 720 in Premium Eco. which was not bad at all considering that LH and CX were asking for over $1.000+ on the non-stop.
On top of that I had the opportunity to layover in SIN for the night and see the Jewel which is the new mall development with the water cascade.
Originally I was supposed to take a night flight after 7:00P but I found out that the 3p one was an A380 and I decided to arrive earlier to see if SQ will allow me to switch. To my surprise the agent confirmed me on the flight and waived the change fee as a courtesy.
Entrance to SQ lounge. I can't believe that the WC's inside have not been fixed yet. This renovation is taking years and guests have to go to the ones outside right next to the lounge.

The lounge is pretty comfortable with different sections. Not particularly big but well appointed.

Summary:
SQ passed with flying colors as expected. I was lucky to ride on the A380 and allowed to be transferred to the earlier flight without charge.The service was nothing short of phenomenal from the staff. Attentive, friendly, smiling and always proactive. Just perfection. The tour of the premium cabins was a highlight and made this flight even more memorable.
