Prologue:

Back in September 2016, AA/BA had a sale out of Switzerland. I paid 950€ for the following trip in business:
Basel to London with BA -> No Report
London to Houston with BA
Houston to Chicago with AA > No Report
Chicago to London with AA
London to Basel with BA > No Report

Right after the reset of my Tier Point with British Airways, I wanted to log some TP and avios.

Summary:

While being a BA member. I hope a change will come..
The new first class is due to open around may will bring a much needed new level.

The lounge is far from First Class feeling...
- The bathroom/toilet : Not what you expect. Aside from not so clean, they are too old...
- Staff : Average. No smile..
- The catering.. The buffet would have been great in the business class lounge but not FC. The fast you can't get in the ground the right cooking of your burger is beyond me... I agree it's a way to save time. In that case you don't put the pax at the center.

The flight:
Cabin : The seat was good a decade ago, but in today's world, it's no longer the case. It's too narrow.
IFE ; good with many choices in French.
Staff : Okay, they just don't go the extra mile to satisfy you.
Catering : While the lunch was correct, seeing your sandwiches in a plastic on your plate, it really puzzled me. Can you at least remove the plastic bag ?

All in all, an average experience with BA.
