Summary:
Lounge :- Staff : All were very polite but the service in the restaurant was the downright of my stay. My soup was far from finish and they brought me the main... Not really a first class feeling. Aside from that, I was served by an impressing young bartender. He was so enthusiast about his job, it was a treat to discuss and see him in motion. Passionate by wines, he will soon fly to France to learn about the wines. Paid by himself. Thanks buddy.
- Design : Wow it's really huge, pictures don't do justice. Maybe too much for me. If you ask me, design wise, QR is better than EK and EY.
- Catering : While the meals were good, it did not impress me like Etihad's lounge. The menu should be improved.
- Spa and bathroom : Paying for a spa is for me a wrong move given that your competitors give a 15 minutes complementary massage.
What I really appreciated was the private room, not a quiet area a la EK or EY.
Flight :
- Crew : OMG, Honnie aside from her stunning beauty, was a masterpiece. It's the kind of FA you wish to have in any flights. Guess what I had the please to served by her on my way back.
- Catering : The light options were good, the breakfast is more like a brunch for me. too bad the salad was a bit bland.
- Comfort : I slept like a baby, the lack of privacy is not an issue for me. You can use the slider. I enjoyed the fast, reliable and unlimited data wifi provided on board (voucher given to FC pax).
Overall, it was a great flight. It's amazing how a FA can dramatically improve your experience.
I recommend you to try QR in First.
