Prologue:

After a week in Bangkok, it was time to head back to France for few days and then back to China !

With my wife, we left the hotel at 2 pm, we ordered our cab through a well known Chinese website. Convenient and cheap !

I really like the lounge. The staff is just perfect !

Summary:

Another good flight with Qatar Airways.

I had the pleasure of being served by a French Cabin crew. Its very unusual.

The catering was fine except the main. Don't get me wrong, The lamb was good but the presentation is not what I expect in First class.

I really like the cabin even if the lack of privacy can be disturbing on a full cabin.

Once again A great flight with QR ! That's usual !

    A very good lounge versus the previous one. Not on par with Polaris from UA but makes sense. The hot selection is underwhelming.

    Hi Thomas,

    It's a nice effort on BA's part, but I still think that it can run over its capacity with 2 flts/day especially one of them being the A380.

    Catering for the hot items could be better. From the other reviews I have seen the "a la carte" menu for the F section is mainly pasta dishes too.

    The best lounge in SFO is UA Polaris followed by VS Clubhouse, CX,, AMEX Centurion, and DL Skyclub.

    I don't think that it is worth arriving early to spend time here but at least it's much nicer than being in the terminal.

    The design of the refurbished Lounge is good but the food can be better. For now how about compared with CX Lounge?

    Hi Aussenrist12,

    Definitely the CX lounge is better in terms of space and food, specially if you like Chinese food. The wonton noodles alone are worth a detour. ;)

    Don't forget that there are also showers at the CX lounge which is a big plus.
