Prologue:

This flight marks the return of my Greek visit. After spending a fabulous time in Corfu and Milos it is time to go back to TLS. We will fly to ATH and then spend 1 night there.

MLO airport is very small and after checking in and going through security pax wait in a holding room.

Once the flight was ready to board pax were allowed to walk to the plane.

FA at the door welcomed pax with a basket of wipes.

Cabin interior.

Take off.

Gorgeous scenery.

This was a 40 min. flight and there was no service due to turbulence.

To compensate for the lack of service the FA gave each pax a bag of cookies as they disembarked.

Milos is an enchanting island and one of the major attractions is Sarakiniko Beach situated in the north shore.

Waves driven by the wind has shaped the volcanic rock around this area creating a "moonscape" scenery.

Summary:

Another short flight with beautiful scenes during take off and landing. The lack of service was compensated at the end with the FA distributing cookies to disembarking pax. When you think about this was a nice gesture that was not necessary due to the short flying time and turbulence.

The scenery during the flight was gorgeous. The flight was not full and we both got a window. What a luck !

It was a memorable trip with lots of beautiful highlights. I'm glad that I had a chance to fly OA despite this flight being just a shadow of its former self. I can imagine that it would have been quite amazing to fly OA in its heyday. At least I got some souvenirs with the OA name and another dear member has a safety card to treasure. ;)
