Prologue:

Welcome to the continuation of my flight on LH from MUC - TLS. After arriving from ATH we checked into the LH Senator lounge by the "K" gates. The lounge became very full at one time so we just left and wandered around the terminal since we have plenty of time to connect.

Buffet was solid with plenty of selections.

At the gate there was a slight delay.

Eventually we were allowed to board. There were 2 crew welcoming pax at the door.

The J cabin was not full today.

I would love to try Air Dolomiti one of these days.

Last vestiges of light on the horizon.

Take off.

A light snack was distributed once we leveled off.

This was followed by apples or chocolates offered from a box.

Beautiful view outside.

Summary:

This was a quick trip on LH with an efficient crew. Thankfully I was able to have a decent dinner at the lounge before taking the flight. I used award miles for this trip but couldn't picture myself paying J for this segment. I don't think it's worth it considering the short flight and the light meal offered.

Yes, it's not worth it to pay cash for this since you have the Gold card that gives you the lounge where you can eat my pretzels ! I miss them :( I've got to fly to FRA/MUC/ZRH/IST while I'm still Gold with MS.

A satisfactory lounge offer and a flight that does the job but I agree with you, without the miles the J is not worth the purchase!

Hi Seb,

I tend to like the food served at LH lounges so no complaints there. On a previous flight I asked how much was the upgrade and it was over EUR 100+ Even the gate suggested me that it was not worth it. :P
