Prologue:
Finally here are the YTR related to my report of Renaissance Hotel (https://www.youtripreport.com/hotelreportdetails?Id=94). Here in China, we had 4 days off for the labour day (May 1), so I took an extra day off to enjoy 5 days there!I didn't take picture on the way to HK, so there is only the return report!
Arrived at the airport, I tried to bargain with the staff to be in the first rows (31/32). Since I have no checking baggage so I wanna leave as soon as possible when I arrive! Unfortunately, the flight is full (again) and the lady is disappointed to make me seat only on the 33 row... Personally I'm happy!
Arriving at HK Airport let's go to the Sky priority check-in

We don't see it clearly but there are the automated self-service barriers. I don't know why it didn't work for me this time.

It's always a good experience to pass through HKG airport. It's modern, spacious, plane spotting friendly and easy to get around.
The Skyteam lounge looks comfortable with a good assortment of food to please Western and Asian palates. Too bad that it does not seem to have views of the tarmac and natural light.
Does MU has a PEY section that is just like CA? From your picture of the cabin it looks like it has the same Y seats but with more seat pitch.
What on earth was that meal? Perhaps a local interpretation of spaghetti with shrimps in Alfredo sauce? I guess the veggies are there for the health conscious pax? Despite the quality of the meal it is still miles ahead of what you get on a similar flight in the US.

Thanks for your comment ! CEA doesn't have PEY section, they try to implement one but it's a fake one (no more space, only a free bottle of water and newspaper from what I was told).
Indeed, SkyTeam lounge is very comfortable and enjoyable. Have you tried it?
For the meal... no idea... my neighboor and I agreed on it should be called "run away if you see me" dish!

Vu le n° de ton siège, à moi qui suis abonné au dernier rang (qui à ses avantages, il ne faut pas croire : t'es pas loin des chiottes, t'as le temps de voir arriver la bouffe etc..) imagine un peu sa désolation de m'annoncer un siège dans les 5000^^...Et ma joie;))
A bord, la prestation alimentaire est pâlichonne. L'IFE fait riche (en taille;)

ReplyMoi je note un .effort avec cette étoile de carotte, les crevettes semblent venir du leverancier des salons AF de CDG, juste la giclée de ??? qui m'inquiète un peu lol.

Sympa ce vol en 330 et même s’il est pas top le catering existe c’est déjà ça. L’IFE est un plus!
La safety card je suis preneur pour ma collection!!!!

Le salon semble agréable et peu fréquenté à cette heure.
A bord, vol en appareil LC et IFE apportent un peu llus de confort.
Le plat ne donne pas envie.
